Wombatt combines the disparate sentiments of metal critic S. Craig Zahler with those of composer Jeff Herriott. Zahler has recorded with the black metal outfit, Charnel Valley (Paragon Records) and written for several different 'zines, including Metal Maniacs and Worm Gear, while Jeff's music has been performed on the concert stage throughout North America and Europe. Wombatt self-released the full-length Basement Metal in 2002.
